உறும்ஆறு - பொருந்திய வழி
இசையா - பொருந்தாத
மறுமையும், இம்மையும் நோக்கி ஒருவருக்கு உற்ற வழி முடிந்த அளவு இல்லாதோருக்கு கொடுத்தலே. வறுமை காரணமாக கொடுக்க முடியா விட்டாலும், பிறரிடம் பிச்சை எடுக்காமல் வாழ்வது இரண்டு மடங்கு சிறந்தது.
The right path in this world, and to the other world, is to give to the needy to the best of your ability.
If, due to poverty, you are not able to give, at least not begging is twice as meritorious as giving.
